Both Midway and O'Hare are equal distance to our
conference and housing location!
If you are traveling by cab, it should be
about $30 to $50 to either your hotel or the conference location.
Depending on traffic, be prepared to pay more. Sharing a cab is
ideal.
We do not recommend renting a car! Parking
is extremely expensive and rare! Prepare to pay over $20 dollars a
day to park in the area of our hotel locations. It is a high
traffic area of
Chicago. However, there is ample street parking at the
conference location.
A shuttle is a great option, usually $22 to
$30. Use
google.com
or
yelp.com
with the key words "airport shuttle Chicago" to choose your shuttle
service as your options vary depending on the airport you are
arriving at, and the hotel you will be staying at. Sharing a ride
always makes it cheaper!
If you are traveling via public transportation,
you can visit the Chicago Transit Authority website at
www.transitchicago.com
to take a look at maps and other transportation details. Print a
CTA map or plan your trip with your housing address and airport
location. Public transportation in Chicago is easy, as both the
airports and the housing are steps from trains. Plan your trip at
www.tripsweb.rtachicago.com
If you have a car with room for more, or
would like to find somebody else in your region who is driving to
Chicago, email Betty at
bettydevoe@gmail.com Also, if you plan on taking
public transportation, she is thrilled to assist you with planning!
She can help with all your transportation needs!
